Dr. Edward Tracey is the owner of FireRescueEdu. He is a career firefighter, Captain, and educator with more than 30 years of active involvement across volunteer, combination, and career fire departments. His work includes extensive experience in operations and training, technical rescue/US&R oversight, instructional roles, and company officer responsibilities.
He holds a Doctor of Education, an MPA, and a B.S. in Fire Service Administration, and is completing a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology. His expertise lies in applying proven educational methods to the real demands of today’s fire service.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Tracey has taught firefighting, technical rescue, firefighter safety, and hazardous materials at the state and local levels. He serves on multiple curriculum committees and develops courses delivered in online, hybrid, and classroom settings for associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s programs.
